On 8 June, Signum Classics release their recording of Richard Blackford’s newly composed violin concerto Niobe, conducted by Ben, with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Tamsin Waley-Cohen as soloist. The recording was made immediately after Ben, Tamsin and the Czech Philharmonic performed the world premiere earlier this season at the Rudolfinum in Prague. Purchase the recording here

Later in the same month, on 29 June, Hyperion release the latest recording in their “Romantic Piano Concertos” series in which Ben conducts concerti by Joseph Rheinberger and Bernard Scholz, played by Simon Callaghan and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Find out more about the recording here
